Try the 23. SSL version.
But do it with that new ver of today.
Only if the v3 does not work in that version.

It seems you have not got the version that has this option.
I will release a newer version soon so you can update and this will be fixed.

Just downloaded 5.0.0.304 and it has it (sslvSSLv3) however if I use this one it does not work.
Testing today to see if it works

Just on a side note would this have something to do with it? Even though all the settings are correct, do i have to gointo the background of the system to allow access?

you will need to use the following settings.

Gmail SMTP server address: smtp.gmail.com.
2.Gmail SMTP username: Your Gmail address (for example, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)
3.Gmail SMTP password: Your Gmail password.
4.Gmail SMTP port (TLS): 587.
6.Gmail SMTP TLS/SSL required: Yes.

Tick SASL and TLS. and set SSL version to v 3
Don't enter POP data this was when in the old days they would want you to pop before smtp.
It can be you need to play around with the SSL version and set it lower to v.23

Thank you Pieter, I have done as you said, please see attached screenshots. It does not give me any option to change the SSL Version. Made no difference still can't login

Thanks for your help mate

Good afternoon or morning all.

Having with the help of Susan and Pieter finally been able to get most of this great package working, just a few little bits and all done.

My question to day is the setup of the internet. I go thru all the processes of setup however get the error e-mail server not found
even though the smtp and pop are correct, 2 step verification is off and allow less secure apps is off.
Would appreciate any advise on this one from all :)
